Job Search Support Group from the Inside

Back in May Terry Seamon and I wrote an article on Job Search Support Groups to provide guidance to folks starting a group.

This experience is unique because the group was formed by a full time employee, not in the HR Department, whose co-workers were recently laid off or about to be laid off, all from the same organization. Understanding the urgency of the circumstances she forged ahead and formed this group without using any company resources. This is a real success story! The group continues to meet as more folks are laid off. To date, more than 50% of the group have landed in new positions.
